     История "Wallquest" начинается 1820 году. Семья Лафой (Lafoy) из Леона, Франция, начала производство обоев. В 1938 году потомок семьи Лафой, Генри Лафой, создал Consortium du Paper Peint. Эта компания стала во многом изобретателем в производстве обоев. Одно из важных открытий – это обои с устойчивым принтом или inalterable wallpaper («неизменные обои»). И с этого времени компания называется "Inaltera S.A.". Генри изобрел глубокую печать и начал использовать винил для придания обоям прочности. Также их инновацией стала печать с флоком, текстильные обои и изменяющийся рисунок. В зависимости от освещения он появляется и исчезает. В 1976 году "Inaltera S.A." создала дочернее предприятие в Нью-Йорке, которое было названо "Inaltera Wallcoverings Inc." Эта компания импортировала обои из Франции. Рост продаж и известности был настолько высок, что эти обои появились в Белом доме, а также в интерьерах многих звезд. В это время продукция "Inaltera S.A. " получила международное призвание. В 1985 году судьба Inaltera S.A. изменилась к лучшему. Дочерняя компания в США выкупила акции у французских владельцев и изменила название на " Wallquest Inc". Компания была уникальна, она выступала как консалидатор и импортер. А уже в 1994 году начала собственное производство в Уэне, штат Пенсильвания. Сегодня "Wallquest" является одним из инновационных производителей обоев в мире.

Carefully examine your order for color, design, quantity or imperfections before cutting. The highest quality workmanship and inspection is employed in the production of the wallcovering, but final inspection and approval are the ultimate responsibilities of the consumer. Prior to cutting either wallcovering or fabric we recommend that all material be in your possession. Claims against wall covering and/or fabric will not be accepted after cutting and/or hanging. If you also order companion fabric, do not hang wallcovering until fabric can be compared for color. We will replace all defective merchandise with new wallcoverings of equal value through our retailer but will not be responsible for labor cost. Color changes (hot spots) or discoloration due to unneutralized plaster, additional paste, improper wall preparations or papering over old wallcoverings are not covered in the warranty. We also suggest that paints and special dyes should be matched to actual fabrics and wallcoverings, not samples.
