YOUR LOCAL RETAILER CAN ASSIST YOU WITH HELPFUL PREPARATION TIPS AND PRODUCTS. Surface Preparation: Remove old wallcoverings and fill holes and/or cracks. Sandpaper Irregular surfaces. Unpainted Walls: New plaster must be aged and thoroughly dry. Seal bare surfaces with a suitable primer and size. Painted Walls: Wash surfaces with a household detergent to remove grease, grime and dust. Prime/size surfaces with a suitable product. Hanging Instructions: Detailed instructions are enclosed in the rolls of wallcovering and/or border. Please follow the manufacturer's suggestions for installation as noted on that specific instruction sheet. Do not allow vinyl adhesive to dry on surface of wallcovering as some adhesives contain solvents that can destroy the printed color. Always wash off excess adhesive from the face of the wallcovering during hanging. Use a mild soap and water. Rinse the sponge often to insure thorough cleaning. Before Starting: Important! We recommend that all wallcoverings and borders be in your possession before selecting specially matched paint or any work is started.

RECOMMENDED CLEANING INSTRUCTIONS FOR WALLCOVERINGS OR WASHABLE WALLCOVERINGS: To keep your wallcoverings clean and fresh, wash with a soft sponge and lukewarm water. Most household stains can be removed if cleaned immediately with mild soap or detergent and a sponge. Do not use abrasive cleaners, solvents, lacquer thinner or nail polish remover. To avoid streaking, we recommend washing from the baseboard upwards and rinse thoroughly. For Future Reference-please save the hanging instructions for detailed cleaning information.
