           Американская компания York начала производить обои еще в 1895 году и сегодня является старейшим и самым крупным производителем обоев в США. Сегодня York поставляет свою продукцию более, чем в 40 стран мира. В обоях и стеновых покрытиях York присутствуют многие художественные стили и направления, его коллекции отличаются очень точной прорисовкой сюжетов, красочностью и выразительностью. Многие каталоги дополнены тканями-компаньонами. Собственное дизайн-бюро является признанным лидером в разработке рисунков обоев и в подборе цветов. Источником вдохновения для дизайнеров York является обширный архив исторических сюжетов, дизайнов и материалов. Самые ранние из них относятся к началу XVIII века. Гордостью компании являются старые печатные машины, которым уже более 100 лет. С помощью этих редких станков специально подготовленные мастера способны воспроизводить на обоях эффекты, недоступные современному оборудованию.
